As a Consultant in our Tax GCR team, you will be instrumental in providing technical excellence and client service. Your key responsibilities will include assisting seniors with client queries on corporate tax matters, such as capital gains and tax payments. You'll conduct technical research on income tax provisions impacting clients and prepare submissions for assessment and appellate proceedings.

You will also support seniors in routine appearances before income tax authorities and handle administrative tasks like engagement letters, QRM, client paper filing, and billing follow-up. Client engagements must be conducted professionally, adhering to contractual terms and expectations. People responsibilities involve exhibiting a positive attitude, willingness to learn, constructive teamwork, and leveraging knowledge from various sources to deliver high-quality services that exceed client expectations.

Operationally, you'll participate in group work execution, deliver work effectively, and collaborate with tax professionals for comprehensive solutions. Ensuring assigned tasks align with work programs, firm methodologies, and professional standards is crucial. You will utilize electronic working papers and software efficiently for research, and continuously acquire and demonstrate competence in technical knowledge and compliance processes by staying updated on industry trends and developments. Analyzing data to produce accurate and timely tax products, checking documents thoroughly, and maintaining client confidentiality are also key aspects of this role.

To excel in this role, you should possess a Chartered Accountant qualification. The experience requirement is typically 0-2 years, making this an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or those with limited prior experience.
