As a Consultant in our National Tax ITTS Advisory team in Bangalore, you will contribute to a dynamic sector-agnostic team. Our globally coordinated tax professionals offer comprehensive services to help clients navigate rapid changes. We leverage exceptional knowledge, experience, and technology to deliver strategic insights and execution for tax and regulatory obligations.
Your primary goal is to support the Transaction Tax team by delivering high-quality work using your tax knowledge and collaborating with experienced professionals. You will help drive profitable growth through efficient client engagement execution.
Key responsibilities include conducting engagements professionally, managing client expectations, and building strong client relationships. You'll contribute positively, demonstrate a willingness to learn, and share knowledge from various sources. Providing timely, high-quality services and work products, along with mentoring interns and consultants, is essential. Daily tasks involve researching transaction tax laws (domestic, international, corporate, SEBI, FEMA, Competition Act, stamp duty) for inbound/outbound deals and reorganizations. You will analyze tax theories, apply them to client needs, and prepare deliverables such as reports, presentations, and emails. Performing direct tax diligence, scrutinizing past tax issues, and documenting findings are also key aspects of this role.
We seek individuals with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and a keen eye for detail. A positive, responsible attitude and the capacity to perform under pressure are valued. Willingness to travel locally and outstation for work is necessary.
To qualify, you must be a qualified Chartered Accountant with 0-2 years of relevant tax experience. Preferred experience includes tax work during an internship or post-qualification. Proficiency in using appropriate tax practice processes and tools to maximize efficiency is also a requirement.
