As a Transaction Tax Consultant, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality client engagements by applying tax knowledge and collaborating with experienced professionals. Your responsibilities include conducting engagements professionally, adhering to client expectations and contract terms, and building strong client relationships. You will also contribute to knowledge sharing, provide timely and high-quality work products, and mentor interns and junior consultants. Key day-to-day tasks involve researching and analyzing transaction tax laws, domestic and international tax regulations, corporate laws, SEBI, FEMA, Competition Act, and stamp duty laws for inbound/outbound deals and corporate reorganizations. You will also prepare deliverables, conduct direct tax diligence, and document findings in reports.

To excel in this role, you should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with 0-2 years of relevant experience in Tax, ideally gained during an internship or post-qualification. Essential skills include the ability to manage multiple projects, a keen attention to detail, a positive attitude, responsibility, and resilience under pressure. You must also be willing to travel locally and outstation for work.
