Join EY as a Consultant within our Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) team, specializing in National Tax. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to client engagements and drive profitable growth by ensuring efficient service delivery.

We are seeking individuals who can manage client projects professionally and effectively, meeting both expectations and contractual obligations. You will play a key part in delivering high-quality tax services and developing your expertise within a dynamic global organization.

Key responsibilities include preparing and filing individual tax returns and e-TDS, drafting submissions for tax authorities, and representing clients before these authorities. You will also advise on outbound/inbound structuring for employee movements and gain working knowledge of immigration and provident fund regulations for expatriates.

Operationally, you will execute assigned tasks within work programs, adhering to firm methodologies and professional standards. This involves utilizing electronic working papers and software for research, analyzing data to produce accurate tax products, and ensuring thorough document checks for tax inspections. Demonstrating professionalism and maintaining client confidentiality are paramount.

Successful candidates will possess good written and oral communication skills, proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines. A strong analytical and numerical aptitude, coupled with enthusiasm and self-starting capabilities, is essential.

To qualify, you must be a certified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0-1 year of relevant experience. Ideally, you will have excellent interpersonal skills, be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative, and comfortable interacting with senior executives both internally and with clients. A practical approach to problem-solving and delivering insightful solutions is highly valued.
