The role involves ensuring robust technical excellence in direct tax, including a thorough understanding of TDS provisions and associated compliance mandates. You will be responsible for adherence to direct tax compliance due dates and statutory filing timelines, managing the end-to-end compliance process. A key aspect of this role includes leveraging accounting knowledge and ERP systems like SAP and Oracle, alongside utilizing automation tools and GenAI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini to enhance compliance efficiency. Managing client deliverables and coordinating effectively with client and internal teams to support accurate reporting will also be crucial.

To excel in this role, a strong foundation in Direct Tax Laws, including TDS provisions and their compliance, is essential. Proficiency in direct tax compliance due dates, statutory filing, and end-to-end compliance execution is required. Candidates should possess knowledge of accounting processes and practical experience with ERP systems like SAP and Oracle. The ability to employ automation tools and GenAI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) for improved efficiency is highly valued. Experience in client deliverable management and cross-team coordination is also a key qualification. Educational qualifications include being a Chartered Accountant, Bachelor of Commerce, or Master of Commerce, with 0-2 years of experience.
