Join EY as a Consultant in our Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) Tax team in New Delhi. This role is crucial for supporting client engagements and contributing to the firm's profitable growth through efficient service delivery. You'll be part of a dynamic team focused on providing comprehensive tax solutions.

Your responsibilities will involve conducting client engagements professionally, adhering to contract terms. Key tasks include preparing and filing individual tax returns and e-TDS returns, drafting submissions for tax authorities, advising on inbound/outbound structuring for employees, and understanding immigration and provident fund aspects for expatriates.

You will also prepare high-quality work products that exceed client expectations, leveraging knowledge from various sources. Participating in group work, delivering tasks effectively, and teaming with tax professionals are essential. You'll ensure assigned work aligns with project plans, firm methodologies, and professional standards. Research will involve efficiently using electronic working papers and various software applications.

Develop technical competence by staying updated on tax trends and authorities. Analyze data to create accurate and timely tax products, whether advisory or compliance-focused. You will also thoroughly check documents for tax inspections and demonstrate professionalism by maintaining client confidentiality and cooperative relationships. Contribute to team success by understanding EY methodologies and tools, keeping team members informed, proactively seeking assignments, and challenging traditional procedures to find innovative approaches.

We are seeking individuals with 0-1 year of relevant experience and a certified CA qualification. Essential skills include proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, strong analytical and numerical abilities, and excellent written and oral communication skills. You should be able to work effectively under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and possess good time management skills. Enthusiasm, a self-starting attitude, and the ability to grasp details are also crucial.
