EY seeks a motivated Consultant to join our Global Compliance & Reporting team in New Delhi. This role is instrumental in supporting client engagements and fostering profitable growth through efficient service delivery. You'll contribute to a dynamic team environment focused on providing exceptional tax advisory and compliance services.

As a Consultant, you will manage client engagements professionally, adhering to contract terms and client expectations. Key duties include preparing and filing tax returns (individual and e-TDS), drafting submissions for tax authorities, advising on inbound/outbound structuring for employee mobility, and managing expatriate immigration and provident fund matters.

Internally, you will maintain a positive, learning-oriented attitude, collaborate effectively with team members to enhance performance, and leverage shared knowledge resources. You will consistently deliver high-quality work products that surpass client expectations. Operational responsibilities involve executing tasks within assigned work programs, following firm methodologies, and utilizing electronic working papers and software for research.

This role requires acquiring and applying technical knowledge, staying updated on tax trends, and analyzing data to produce accurate and timely tax products. You will also ensure document readiness for tax inspections, maintain client confidentiality, and proactively contribute to team success by understanding methodologies, sharing work status, seeking assignments, and identifying innovative approaches.

To excel in this role, you need strong written and oral communication skills, proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and the ability to perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Essential attributes include strong analytical and numerical abilities, an enthusiastic and self-starting attitude, and being a cooperative team player with a keen eye for detail and excellent time management skills.

We require candidates to be certified CAs with 0-1 year of relevant experience. Ideally, you will also possess good interpersonal skills, demonstrate high flexibility, adaptability, and creativity, and be comfortable interacting with senior executives both within the firm and at client organizations. You should be adept at collaborative work, problem-solving, and delivering practical, insightful solutions.
