EY is seeking a Consultant to join their Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) Tax team in Mumbai. This role is instrumental in contributing to the profitable growth of the firm by ensuring efficient execution of client engagements.

As a Consultant, you will be a key player in delivering exceptional tax services. You will focus on managing client relationships, upholding professional standards, and contributing to the team's success through diligent work and collaboration.

Key responsibilities include conducting engagements professionally and in line with client expectations and contractual terms. This involves preparing and filing individual tax returns, e-TDS returns, drafting submissions for tax authorities, and advising on outbound/inbound structuring. You will also manage expatriate-related matters such as immigration and provident fund.

You will work constructively with the team, evaluating and improving performance while contributing and leveraging knowledge. The role demands providing timely, high-quality services that exceed client expectations. Operational excellence includes participating in group work, adhering to firm methodologies and professional standards, and effectively using electronic working papers and research tools. Developing technical knowledge, analyzing data for tax products, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness are crucial. Maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and contributing to team success through improved service delivery are also vital.

To qualify for this position, you must hold a certified CA qualification and possess 0-1 year of relevant experience. Essential skills include strong communication abilities (written and oral), proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and possess strong analytical and numerical skills.
