Join our Supply Chain & Network Operations team as a Consultant specializing in S&P - Cost TakeOut. This role is crucial for establishing and operationalizing a centralized Tail Spend Management capability. The focus is on enhancing governance, transparency, and control over fragmented spend across various business units.

This position leverages AI and automation for touchless sourcing, predictive spend intelligence, and guided buying. The aim is to minimize transaction costs, reduce spend leakage, and ensure consistent, compliant execution of tail spend processes while achieving significant cost savings and efficiency improvements.

As a Consultant, you will define and govern tail spend by establishing standard classifications and segmentation frameworks. This includes developing strategies for different spend tiers, from highly challenging spend to local small value requirements.

You will also manage supplier and commercial controls, supporting rationalization initiatives and overseeing robust sourcing processes from initiation to contracting. Ensuring alignment with approved supplier bases and negotiated terms is key.

Risk and financial management involve aligning with financial assumptions, identifying risk hotspots, and monitoring supplier financial, ESG, and geopolitical risks. Proactive flagging of fraud and unusual spending patterns is essential.

Furthermore, you will design and deliver leadership dashboards for tail spend trends, supplier concentration, and policy compliance. Driving the adoption of analytics tools and establishing reporting cadences with stakeholders are critical responsibilities.

Finally, the role involves automation and technology enablement, implementing AI-powered sourcing, automated approvals for low-value purchases, and deploying interactive assistants to reduce maverick spending. Automating end-to-end requisition-to-pay processes for low-value purchases is also a key objective.

We are seeking individuals with 3-5 years of relevant experience and advanced knowledge of Procurement processes and applications. A strong understanding of S2C and Strategic Sourcing processes is essential, alongside excellent client and stakeholder management skills.

Key functional competencies include expertise in tail spend frameworks, supplier segmentation, governance, financial controls, and compliance. You should possess strong analytical and data cleansing skills.

Technical proficiency is required in ERP systems (SAP/Ariba/Coupa preferred) and data analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Tableau. The ability to translate data into actionable insights is highly valued.

Ideal candidates will have experience working with global stakeholders and multiple business units, demonstrating strong communication and influencing abilities. A structured problem-solving mindset, a strong governance orientation, and meticulous attention to detail are also important.

Educational qualifications include a B.Com, BBA, BMS, or similar graduate degree, with a preference for M.Com or MBA or a similar postgraduate degree.
