As a DevOps Team Lead, you will spearhead the management and scaling of production-grade distributed systems on GCP. Focus on enhancing reliability, automation, and observability to achieve 5 Nines uptime through strategic engineering efforts.

Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of SRE/DevOps engineers, driving improvements in MTTR and MTTA, and establishing operational metrics like SLI, SLO, and SLA. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of highly reliable banking services.

Manage infrastructure on GCP, including Kubernetes Engine, Compute, networking, and IAM. Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and deploy containerized workloads with Kubernetes. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to pods, nodes, and services. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and manage deployments with Helm. Develop automation scripts in Python and Shell to reduce operational toil and implement proactive monitoring solutions.

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Team Lead with 4-6 years of progressive experience in SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering, including prior leadership or mentoring experience. A strong background in managing production-grade systems is essential.

Required expertise includes deep knowledge of GCP cloud platform services such as Kubernetes Engine, VPC, IAM, Load Balancing, and BigQuery. You must have hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure management and extensive expertise in Kubernetes (GKE) and Docker. Proficiency in Jenkins, GitHub, Python, and Shell scripting is also crucial.

Familiarity with observability tools like Dynatrace and Grafana, along with a solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and Linux fundamentals, is expected. While not strictly mandatory, working knowledge of Java or Golang applications is preferred. Experience with deployment strategies such as Canary and Blue-Green is a plus.
