Join our dynamic team in Kolkata as a Consultant specializing in SAP IS-U. This role is crucial for supporting power purchase planning, procurement operations, energy accounting, contract management, scheduling, settlements, and regulatory compliance within the utilities sector.

Leverage your expertise in SAP IS-U and related systems to manage end-to-end power procurement processes. You will be involved in long-term and short-term power purchase arrangements, energy scheduling, contract administration, cost management, and integration with SAP IS-U, SAP FI/CO, and energy management systems.

Key responsibilities include overseeing power procurement operations, managing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), and facilitating load forecasting & demand planning. You will also handle scheduling, dispatch & energy management, ensuring seamless SAP IS-U & Commercial Integration.

Further duties involve energy accounting & settlement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting renewable energy procurement initiatives. You will also contribute to reporting & analytics, SAP integration & business processes, and provide testing & implementation support, along with production support.

Ideal candidates possess 3–6 years of experience in Power Utilities, Energy Management, or Power Procurement. A minimum of 2 years in power procurement, power trading support, energy accounting, or utility commercial operations is required.

Previous experience with power distribution utilities, generation companies, or electricity boards is highly valued. Exposure to SAP IS-U environments is preferred. A graduate degree in Science or Engineering (B.Sc (I.T.), B.Sc (Computer Science), B.E/B.Tech) or an MBA is necessary for this role.
