This role focuses on leveraging SAP ABAP expertise to deliver robust technical solutions within the Metals, Mining, and Industrial sector. The consultant will analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient SAP applications. A strong emphasis will be placed on SAP Forms development, including SAP Script, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms. The position involves designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting various SAP components like reports, interfaces, and workflows.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining print programs and output management solutions across SAP ECC and S/4HANA. The consultant will also be involved in unit testing, debugging, performance tuning, and providing production support. Collaboration with functional consultants and business users is essential for successful project delivery and adherence to development best practices and quality standards.

Analyze business needs and craft technical solutions, with a focus on SAP Forms (SAP Script, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms). Design, build, refine, and support custom SAP applications, reports, interfaces, workflows, and enhancements. Develop and manage print programs, output management systems, and critical forms in both SAP ECC and S/4HANA. Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot issues, debug code, optimize performance, and provide production support. Collaborate closely with functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical outcomes. Uphold and contribute to development guidelines, best practices, and quality benchmarks.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP is required. Proficiency in Core ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) is essential. Extensive experience with Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, SAP Script, Print Programs, and Output Management is necessary. Familiarity with the SAP Enhancement Framework, including User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancements. Strong understanding of Data Dictionary, Tables, Domains, Data Elements, Search Helps, and Lock Objects. Experience with RFC, ALE, IDoc, BAPI, BDC, LSMW, ALV, Workflow, Web Dynpro, and Data Interfaces. Good grasp of SAP Tables, Data Models, and Integration Concepts. Proficiency in SQL Trace, Runtime Analysis, Debugging, Performance Tuning, and Query/InfoSet Development. Knowledge of web services and integration technologies such as SOAP, REST, and HTTP APIs. Experience in report development, custom solutions, enhancements, modifications, and support for SAP applications. Exposure to SAP S/4HANA development concepts like CDS Views, AMDP, Code Pushdown, and OData Services. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills are vital for teamwork and independent contribution.
