This role focuses on leveraging SAP ABAP expertise to deliver robust technical solutions within the Metals, Mining, and Industrial sector. The consultant will analyze complex business needs and translate them into efficient, high-quality SAP applications. Analyze and translate business requirements into technical SAP ABAP solutions, with a focus on SAP Web Dynpro ABAP and OData services. Design, develop, and enhance custom SAP applications, reports, interfaces, workflows, and forms across SAP ECC and S/4HANA. Ensure high-quality delivery through comprehensive unit testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning. Collaborate closely with functional consultants and business users to achieve optimal outcomes. Adhere to and promote development best practices and quality standards.

A minimum of 5 years of relevant SAP ABAP experience is essential. Proficiency in Core ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) is required, alongside extensive experience in Webdynpro ABAP and OData development. Strong command of Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, SAP Script, and Print Programs is necessary. Experience with the SAP Enhancement Framework, including User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancements, is crucial. A solid understanding of Data Dictionary concepts, Tables, Domains, and Data Elements is expected. Familiarity with RFC, ALE, IDoc, BAPI, BDC, LSMW, ALV, Workflow, and Data Interfaces is vital. Knowledge of web services (SOAP, REST, HTTP APIs) and SAP S/4HANA development concepts like CDS Views and AMDP is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are important for success in this role.
