Join our team as an SAP ABAP Consultant in Bengaluru, contributing to innovative solutions within the SAP ecosystem for Metals, Mining, and Industrial sectors. This role focuses on leveraging your expertise in SAP ABAP and S/4HANA to analyze business needs and deliver robust technical solutions.

We are seeking a professional with a strong foundation in ABAP development, including extensive experience with reports, enhancements, interfaces, conversions, forms, and workflows (RICEFW). Your role will be pivotal in shaping custom SAP applications and ensuring seamless integration across SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.

This position offers a dynamic environment where you will collaborate closely with functional consultants and business users. You will be instrumental in developing, enhancing, and supporting critical SAP applications, upholding development guidelines, best practices, and quality standards throughout all projects.

Analyze intricate business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions using SAP ABAP and S/4HANA development technologies. This includes developing Reports, Enhancements, Interfaces, Conversions, Forms, Workflows (RICEFW), CDS Views, AMDP, and OData Services.

Design, build, enhance, and provide ongoing support for custom SAP applications, reports, interfaces, workflows, and forms. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining print programs and business-critical forms across SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.

Execute thorough unit testing, conduct troubleshooting and debugging, perform performance tuning, and provide essential production support. Work collaboratively with functional consultants and business users to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical solutions, adhering to established development guidelines and quality standards.

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in SAP ABAP development is required. Proficiency in Core ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) is essential.

Demonstrated experience with Reports, ALV, Dialog Programming, Smart Forms, SAP Script, Adobe Forms, and Workflow is crucial. A strong understanding of the SAP Enhancement Framework, including User Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancement Spots, is also necessary.

Experience with Data Dictionary objects, interface technologies like RFC, BAPI, IDoc, and OData services is expected. Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA development, CDS Views, AMDP, and troubleshooting tools like SQL Trace and Runtime Analysis will be key to success in this role.
