Join our team as an SAP ABAP Consultant in Bengaluru and contribute to innovative solutions within the Metals, Mining, and Industrial sector. This role involves analyzing business needs and developing robust technical solutions.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing custom SAP applications. This includes creating reports, interfaces, workflows, and forms. The position requires a strong focus on SAP Web Dynpro ABAP and OData services, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

We expect you to perform comprehensive unit testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Collaboration with functional consultants and business users is key to delivering high-quality results. Adhering to and promoting development best practices and quality standards is essential.

Develop and maintain custom SAP applications, reports, interfaces, workflows, and forms.

Focus on creating technical solutions using SAP Web Dynpro ABAP and OData services.

Build and support print programs, output management solutions, and business-critical forms for SAP ECC and S/4HANA.

Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure optimal application performance.

Collaborate effectively with functional consultants and business users to meet project objectives.

Uphold and enhance development guidelines, best practices, and quality standards.

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in SAP ABAP is required.

Proficiency in Core ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) is essential.

Extensive experience in Webdynpro ABAP and OData development is necessary.

Strong background in Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, SAP Script, Print Programs, and Output Management is expected.

Familiarity with SAP Enhancement Framework, including User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancements.

Solid understanding of Data Dictionary, Tables, Domains, Data Elements, Search Helps, and Lock Objects.

Experience with RFC, ALE, IDoc, BAPI, BDC, LSMW, ALV, Workflow, Web Dynpro, and Data Interfaces.

Good knowledge of SAP Tables, Data Models, and Integration Concepts.

Proficiency in SQL Trace, Runtime Analysis, Debugging, Performance Tuning, and Query/InfoSet Development.

Understanding of web services and integration technologies such as SOAP, REST, and HTTP APIs.

Experience in report development, custom developments, enhancements, modifications, and support of SAP applications.

Exposure to SAP S/4HANA development concepts, including CDS Views, AMDP, and Code Pushdown.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills are a must.
