EY, a global leader in professional services, is seeking a Consultant for its Workforce Advisory team in Bangalore. This role focuses on enhancing the employee lifecycle management within a large pharmaceutical organization's HR Shared Services operation. You will play a crucial part in ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and a positive employee experience through efficient HR processes.

Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle transactions, including hires, transfers, job changes, and exits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HR policies and data privacy requirements. Validate approvals, effective dates, and employee data, coordinating with HRBPs and payroll to resolve discrepancies. Maintain detailed case notes, audit trails, and closure rationales within the HR helpdesk system. Triage and resolve employee HR cases within agreed service levels, utilizing policies and process guides. Perform employee profile lookups in HR systems like Workday or SAP SuccessFactors to validate information. Escalate complex cases to specialist teams with clear summaries and recommended next steps. Monitor assigned queues and case ageing, escalating service risks as needed. Apply strict data privacy and identity verification protocols throughout the case lifecycle. Identify recurring issues, case trends, and knowledge gaps to drive continuous service quality and knowledge base improvements.

Required: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in employee lifecycle management within HR operations, GCC, GBS, or shared services. Proficiency in HR ticketing systems, case documentation, SLA management, and maintaining employee data confidentiality. Experience using HR systems for employee data lookup, transactions, or reporting (Workday HCM or SAP SuccessFactors preferred). Familiarity with ServiceNow HRSD or comparable helpdesk/case management workflow. Strong business English communication skills, with the ability to support global stakeholders effectively. Possess a strong HR operations mindset, balancing employee experience, policy adherence, and service controls. Demonstrate high attention to detail, data accuracy, and disciplined documentation for audit-ready execution. Exhibit clear written communication, professional stakeholder follow-through, and global hand-off management skills. Comfortable operating within a GCC or shared services model, including SLAs, queues, escalations, and governance reviews. Ability to learn process nuances, ask structured questions, and apply knowledge effectively. Exhibit sound judgment in handling confidential employee information and escalating sensitive matters.
