Seeking a skilled Consultant with expertise in Oracle OTBI and BI Publisher to drive HR transformation initiatives. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their reporting needs and delivering tailored solutions using Oracle Cloud applications. As a Manager, you will guide clients through the entire reporting lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing maintenance. Your deep knowledge of Oracle reporting tools will be crucial in providing best practices and mentoring junior team members. Lead the design, development, and delivery of customized OTBI and BI Publisher reports for Oracle Cloud Applications. Translate client reporting requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with functional teams. Develop, customize, and optimize OTBI reports for efficient data extraction and accuracy. Build and deploy BI Publisher reports, including layouts, data models, and templates. Perform data extraction, transformation, and reporting tasks within Oracle Cloud, integrating with other applications as necessary. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OTBI/BIP reports and data discrepancies. Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for reporting solutions. Tune OTBI and BIP reports for optimal performance and data retrieval speeds. Provide expert guidance on Oracle reporting best practices to junior consultants, development teams, and end-users. Gather client feedback to ensure reports meet business needs and user expectations. Maintain and enhance existing reports, ensuring alignment with business requirements and Oracle Cloud updates. Stay current with the latest Oracle Cloud updates and enhancements in reporting tools.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle reporting, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle OTBI and BI Publisher (BIP). Possess strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud applications and their integration with OTBI/BIP. Demonstrate extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying OTBI and BI Publisher reports. Exhibit expertise in developing custom layouts, data models, and templates in BI Publisher. Possess an in-depth understanding of Oracle Data Models, SQL, and data retrieval techniques. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and reporting best practices is expected. Proven experience in performance tuning of OTBI and BIP reports. Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve data quality, report performance, and functional requirement issues. Familiarity with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle BI, or Oracle Reports is advantageous. Experience with XML, XSL, and web technologies related to BI Publisher is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for client interaction.
