Join our Technology & Transformation practice as a Consultant specializing in Mobile Application Testing. This role is based in Pune and focuses on ensuring the highest quality for mobile applications through advanced automation strategies. Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test scripts for Android and iOS applications using Appium. Build scalable and reusable mobile automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.

Perform comprehensive functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. Analyze business requirements to identify automation opportunities and execute automation suites, meticulously analyzing results.

Validate APIs using Postman, and manage defects using Jira. Collaborate closely with development, business analysis, and cross-functional teams to resolve identified issues.

Integrate automation suites with GitHub and Jenkins, conduct code quality checks with SonarQube, and utilize Charles Proxy for network analysis. Support release activities and validate deployments.

Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, contributing to continuous improvements in our automation frameworks and quality engineering practices.

We are seeking a Consultant with 3-6 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, with a strong emphasis on Mobile Automation Testing. Expertise in Appium for both Android and iOS is essential. Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions within an Agile framework is required.

Key technical skills include a minimum of two years of experience with Appium, at least one year with native UI test tools like Espresso and XCUI, and one year with device emulation tools. Three years of experience in test automation using Java, test management tools (e.g., Qtest, QualityCenter), defect management tools (e.g., Jira, Rally), and API testing tools (e.g., Postman) are mandatory.

Functional testing is a core requirement, alongside mandatory experience with Appium and a preference for XCUITest or Espresso. A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, CIS, or a related field is expected, though equivalent work experience may be considered.

Ideal candidates will also possess strong soft skills, including technical leadership, client management, excellent communication, analytical problem-solving abilities, ownership, and a collaborative spirit. Experience with tools like SonarQube and Charles Proxy, along with knowledge of UI validation using Figma, is highly valued.
