Join Deloitte's Technology & Transformation practice as a Consultant specializing in Mobile Automation SDET. This role is ideal for a seasoned Quality Engineering professional with 3-6 years of experience. You will leverage your expertise in Appium to design, develop, and maintain robust automation solutions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality mobile applications within an Agile framework.

Develop and execute automated test scripts for Android and iOS applications using Appium, creating reusable and scalable automation frameworks. Conduct comprehensive testing, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios. Analyze requirements to identify automation opportunities and execute test suites, analyzing results and logging defects in Jira.

Perform API validation using Postman and integrate automation suites with GitHub and Jenkins. Utilize SonarQube for code quality checks and Charles Proxy for network traffic analysis. Collaborate with UI/UX teams by validating designs in Figma and support release activities. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies like Sprint Planning and Retrospectives, driving continuous improvements in automation and quality engineering practices.

A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, with a strong focus on Mobile Automation Testing is required. Expertise in Appium for both Android and iOS is essential, alongside a minimum of two years of experience with Java for test automation. Experience with Native UI test tools like Espresso and XCUI (at least one year) and device emulation/simulator tools (e.g., Perfecto, BrowserStack, at least one year) is also needed.

Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., Qtest, QualityCenter) and defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Rally) for at least three years is mandatory. Experience with API test/debugging tools like Postman is also a requirement. While Appium is preferred, a minimum of two years of mobile automation experience using other tools like Selenium is acceptable. Functional testing is mandatory. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field is expected, though equivalent work experience may be considered.
