We are seeking a skilled individual to design, develop, and optimize data solutions within the Azure and Fabric ecosystems. You will play a crucial part in enhancing data pipelines, building robust data storage solutions, and ensuring data quality and accessibility for reporting and analytics.

Key responsibilities include designing and developing scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory or Fabric Data Factory, and constructing Fabric Lakehouse and Warehouse solutions leveraging OneLake, Delta tables, SQL, and Spark.

You will also develop reusable Python/PySpark notebooks for data transformation and quality processing, implement various pipeline patterns (full-load, incremental-load, CDC), and create curated data layers. Ensuring robust logging, exception handling, alerts, and retry mechanisms are essential. Optimization of SQL queries, Spark jobs, data models, and storage structures is also a core aspect of this role, alongside supporting deployments and troubleshooting production incidents.

Mandatory technical skills include strong SQL proficiency with advanced concepts and performance tuning, hands-on experience with Python/PySpark, and practical application of Azure Data Factory or Fabric Data Factory.

Experience with Lakehouse, data warehouse, or enterprise data-platform solutions, along with knowledge of Delta Lake, Parquet, partitioning, and medallion architecture is required. Understanding of data modeling, experience with Git and CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, and working knowledge of Power BI semantic models are also essential. A good grasp of cloud security principles, including identity and role-based access, is necessary.
