This role offers the opportunity to integrate cyber risk management into strategic development, enabling more effective oversight of information and technology.
As part of the Cyber Risk practice, you will engage in cybersecurity consulting, specializing in risk management, governance, compliance, security assessments, and technology risk advisory. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to pinpoint risks, enhance security defenses, implement remediation strategies, and deliver impactful cybersecurity solutions.
- Lead ISO 27001-based Information Security Management System (ISMS) implementation and maintenance. - Evaluate client information security postures, identifying existing environment gaps and risks, and proposing mitigation strategies. - Assist clients in reviewing and implementing information security controls across areas like change management, incident management, access management, physical security, and data handling. - Conduct vendor risk assessments to provide clients with a comprehensive view of outsourcing-related risk exposures. - Advise and support clients in developing and implementing an information classification framework. - Perform information systems audits covering IT infrastructure assets. - Serve as a technical lead or subject matter expert on security and privacy projects, overseeing design, build, testing, and deployment. - Independently manage projects with minimal supervision. - Understand complex business and IT management processes. - Utilize firm tools and methodologies effectively for engagements. - Manage client relationships at mid and lower levels. - Contribute to proposal development for additional client work. - Identify opportunities to enhance engagement economics. - Play a key role in designing and executing business development plans for the service line. - Contribute significantly to professional retention and building team strength and recruitment. - Drive initiatives for people and practice development.
- Possess a strong understanding of fundamental business and IT management processes. - Demonstrate basic knowledge in at least one security and privacy domain, including security governance, risk management, compliance, identity management, network security, security architecture, incident response, disaster recovery, business continuity, privacy, and data protection. - Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills. - Hold a B.E. or B.Tech. degree (Tier 1/2) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Possess relevant certifications such as ISO 27001 LA/LI, ISO 31000 LA/LI, ISO 22301 LA/LI, CISA, or ITIL. - A mandatory minimum of 1 to 7 years of dedicated cyber experience is required.
