Job description

Join EY as a Consultant in our Financial Investigation and Dispute Services (FIDS) team. This role focuses on conducting and leading client engagements related to financial fraud, compliance reviews, and dispute resolution support. You will leverage your analytical skills to investigate complex financial matters and provide actionable recommendations.

This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging cases, contributing to EY's mission of building a better working world. You will develop your expertise in forensic accounting and risk advisory services while collaborating with a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

Execute client engagements with a focus on delivering high-quality results according to engagement agreements. Ensure adherence to the firm's risk management strategies and activities.

Analyze client business processes to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic recommendations. Apply a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving and research.

Review working papers and client files, proposing enhancements to engagement productivity and client service. Manage engagement budgets and support senior team members in developing marketing materials, proposals, and new methodologies.

Contribute to effective internal team collaboration and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Continuously improve processes to capture and leverage team knowledge for future engagements.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess a professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Masters in Business Administration, Certified Fraud Examiner, or LLB. A minimum of 1 to 4 years of post-qualification experience in forensic investigation, risk advisory, internal audits, or process diagnostics is required.

Essential attributes include strong interpersonal skills, excellent report writing abilities, and a solid understanding of client business dynamics. You should also demonstrate effective presentation skills, robust communication abilities, and a proactive, people-friendly, and team-oriented work ethic.

Ideal candidates will be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative, with a willingness to travel as required by client needs. A practical, insightful approach to solving complex issues and delivering effective solutions is crucial.
