The Consultant role within National Forensics focuses on Investigations & Compliance. This is a sector-agnostic team that provides a well-rounded experience across various industries. We specialize in helping organizations protect and restore their reputation by investigating facts, resolving disputes, and managing regulatory challenges. Our integrated approach enhances governance, controls, culture, and data insights to safeguard financial and brand reputations, building trust in capital markets worldwide.

As a Consultant, you will conduct in-depth fraud investigations by analyzing customer and merchant transaction data to pinpoint suspicious activities, fraud patterns, and emerging trends. You will leverage data analytics techniques to detect anomalies and high-risk activities. Your role involves reviewing and optimizing transaction monitoring rules to enhance fraud detection effectiveness and minimize false positives. You'll also design new fraud detection scenarios and monitoring rules based on current trends and customer behavior.

Furthermore, you will evaluate existing fraud management processes and systems to identify operational risks and opportunities for improvement. Identifying automation opportunities within fraud operations and investigation workflows is key. You will develop insightful dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI to provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel is essential for data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and analysis. You will conduct root cause analysis of fraud incidents, recommending preventative and corrective actions, and prepare comprehensive investigation reports and presentations.

To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Analysis. A certification in Data Analytics is highly desirable.
