Job description

Join EY as a Consultant in the Financial Investigations and Disputes (FIDS) team. This role involves leading and executing client engagements focused on critical financial investigations. You'll tackle complex issues like asset tracing, money laundering, ethical breaches, and regulatory inquiries, alongside compliance reviews for FCPA and UKBA. Your expertise will also extend to fraud risk assessments and providing crucial support in dispute resolution, including financial matters like business interruption.

A strong command of interpersonal communication, exceptional report writing abilities, and a keen understanding of client businesses are vital for success in this dynamic role.

Responsibilities

Successfully execute client engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with engagement letters and firm risk management strategies.

Analyze client business and industry trends to identify areas for process improvement and formulate insightful recommendations.

Employ a practical, solution-based approach to problem-solving and leverage research for effective solution delivery.

Review working papers and client files, proposing enhancements to engagement productivity and client service.

Manage engagement budgets, assist superiors with marketing collateral and business proposals, and contribute to new solution development.

Foster effective teamwork within internal engagement settings and actively support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess a relevant professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Masters in Business Administration, Certified Fraud Examiner, or LLB.

We require 1 to 4 years of post-qualification experience in areas like Forensic Investigation, Risk Advisory, Internal Audits, or Process Diagnostics Reviews.

Experience within a Big 4 firm, Tier 2 firm, or a large corporate internal audit team is highly desirable.

Exceptional communication, presentation, facilitation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills are essential. You should also be adaptable, creative, and prepared for travel to meet client needs.
