This role is crucial within our Forensics Discovery team, focusing on safeguarding and restoring enterprise and financial reputations through insightful data analysis.

As a Forensics Data Analyst, you will be instrumental in supporting forensic investigations and risk analytics. Your core duties will involve extracting, transforming, and analyzing extensive datasets using advanced SQL to identify anomalies and suspicious patterns.

Key tasks include: - Performing data profiling, cleansing, and validation. - Developing complex SQL queries and optimizing performance. - Conducting forensic analytics to detect fraud indicators and unusual activities. - Integrating and reconciling data from diverse sources. - Creating dashboards and management reports using visualization tools like Power BI. - Documenting analytical processes and findings for an audit trail.

To excel in this role, a strong foundation in data analysis and SQL is essential. You should possess excellent SQL skills, including complex querying and performance tuning, alongside a solid understanding of relational databases, ETL, and data quality principles.

We require: - Proven hands-on experience with high-volume transactional datasets. - A sharp analytical mindset to identify patterns, anomalies, and exceptions. - Proficiency in Excel and Power BI. - A Bachelor of Technology (Computer Science), Master of Science (Data Science), or Master of Computer Applications is required, along with a Data Analytics certification. - Minimum of 2 years in Data Analysis and 3 years in Business Intelligence. - Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake is desirable. - Exposure to Python for data analysis and automation is a plus.
