We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA ETL Automation Engineer with robust automation testing experience, particularly using Python frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise with modern ETL tools like PySpark and Apache Airflow, coupled with strong programming abilities, database knowledge, and experience with CI/CD pipelines. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop scalable automation solutions and ensure the delivery of high-quality products.

Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks for ETL testing. You will analyze requirements to identify optimal test scenarios for automation, and possess hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and Databricks. A deep understanding of ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading, is essential. You will also be proficient in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries and possess solid experience validating data flows, transformations, and ensuring data integrity across systems.

Collaboration with product, development, and QA teams is crucial. You will actively participate in test planning, estimation, and defining the automation strategy. Integrating and executing automation tests within CI/CD pipelines will be a core function, alongside reporting, tracking, and validating defects to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.

We are looking for professionals with 3-7 years of experience, specifically with end-to-end ETL testing. Mandatory experience working with Azure Databricks is required. Proficiency in the Python programming language is essential, alongside strong hands-on experience with SQL and database testing.

Candidates should have practical experience in CI/CD tools and pipeline integration, including Jenkins and Azure DevOps. Strong experience with version control systems like Git is also necessary. The role requires expertise in test case design and analysis, identifying suitable test cases for automation, and maintaining/optimizing automation scripts. A good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies is expected.
