As a Consultant in Business Consulting Risk, you will be responsible for executing client engagements across various domains including governance, risk & compliance (GRC), internal audits, process reviews, standard operating procedures, enterprise risk management, revenue assurance, internal financial controls (IFC), and Clause 49 assistance. You will ensure quality delivery as per client requirements, review working papers, and identify opportunities for engagement productivity and client service improvement. Key duties include understanding business and industry trends, identifying process improvements, handling data analytics, ensuring compliance with engagement plans and internal quality procedures, and maintaining awareness of internal auditing standards. You will also manage engagement budgets, support marketing collateral and business proposals, develop strong client relationships, and mentor junior team members.

Your role involves demonstrating an application-based approach to problem-solving, anticipating and escalating engagement risks, and actively building internal and client relationships. You will share knowledge, assist in developing new methodologies, and perform procedures focusing on complex issues. Creating engagement plans, managing client expectations, and demonstrating a thorough understanding of compliance, financial, and operational risks are essential. This includes internal control testing, developing internal audit plans, and assessing internal controls and SOX frameworks. You will apply extensive knowledge of the client's business to identify technological impacts, showcase excellent project management, foster teamwork, and utilize technology to enhance service delivery. Understanding EY's service lines and assessing firm capabilities to serve clients is also a key aspect.

To be successful in this role, you must possess a Chartered Accountant qualification or a Master's degree in Science, Arts, Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. A minimum of 6 years of relevant Internal Audit experience is required. Significant experience in applying technical knowledge is essential, particularly in areas such as assessing internal control frameworks, developing risk remediation strategies, performing gap analysis, and experience with Enterprise Resource Management and related risk analysis, process analytics, and business intelligence.
