Execute client engagements with a focus on delivering high-quality results that meet client requirements. Review working papers and client folders, proposing enhancements for engagement productivity and client service. Analyze business and industry trends to identify areas for improvement within client processes and develop actionable recommendations.
Leverage data analytics tools such as Access and ACL. Ensure adherence to engagement plans and internal quality and risk management protocols. Maintain awareness of internal auditing standards from IIA and ICAI, applying a solution-based approach to problem-solving. Manage engagement budgets and support superiors in creating marketing collateral, business proposals, and developing new methodologies.
Cultivate strong working relationships with client stakeholders. Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and mentor junior team members and interns. Contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions within the practice. Effectively manage client expectations regarding deliverables and timelines, ensuring alignment with professional standards. Assess and mitigate risks by understanding financial, operational, and compliance risks and applying internal control testing and SOX frameworks.
To qualify, candidates should possess a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) qualification, or hold a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA). A post-qualification experience of 0-1 year in risk advisory, internal audit, or external audit is required. The role necessitates a willingness to travel up to 50% of the time outside the assigned office location, including commutes within the region, and working beyond standard hours when necessary. A valid passport is essential for this position.
