You will play a key role in executing client engagements across governance, risk & compliance (GRC), internal audits, process reviews, and enterprise risk management.

Execute client engagements with a focus on delivering high-quality results that meet client needs. Review working papers and client documentation, identifying opportunities for engagement productivity and enhanced client service.

Analyze business and industry trends to pinpoint areas for process improvement within client organizations. Handle data analytics using tools like Access and ACL. Ensure adherence to engagement plans and internal quality and risk management procedures.

Maintain an awareness of internal auditing standards from IIA and ICAI. Apply a solution-based approach to problem-solving. Manage engagement budgets and support senior staff in developing marketing materials and business proposals.

Cultivate strong relationships with client stakeholders, including process owners and functional heads. Provide mentorship to junior interns and analysts. Contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions within the practice and actively participate in developing new methodologies.

To excel in this role, you will need to ensure the high quality of delivered work and proactively identify and escalate engagement-related risks. Building strong client and internal relationships is crucial.

Assist and share knowledge with team members, seniors, and managers to develop new methodologies and internal initiatives. Focus on complex, judgmental, and specialized issues during procedures. Collaborate with the team and client to achieve engagement objectives and develop strategies that align with professional standards.

Provide guidance to the engagement team on the client's internal audit environment and industry trends. Manage client expectations regarding service delivery, work products, timing, and deliverables. Demonstrate a deep understanding of compliance, financial, and operational risks.

Perform internal control testing, develop internal audit plans, and offer internal audit services on an outsourcing basis. Assess internal controls and SOX frameworks to mitigate risk and apply them to client scenarios. Utilize extensive knowledge of client businesses and industries to identify technological developments and evaluate their impact.

Showcase excellent project management skills, foster teamwork and responsibility within the engagement team, and leverage current technology for enhanced deliverables. Understand EY's service lines and assess how the firm can best serve clients.
