As an Automation Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks and test cases across diverse applications and services. Your responsibilities include leveraging Playwright with Java/Typescript and spearheading API automation efforts.

You will collaborate closely with development and QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software, performing automation testing with tools like Playwright and developing automated tests for APIs using Rest Assured and Karate to guarantee functionality, reliability, and performance.

We are seeking an experienced Automation Testing professional with 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience, particularly with Playwright.

Key responsibilities include analyzing requirements, creating detailed test plans, designing and maintaining test automation frameworks, and automating test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing. You will integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and conduct testing for Web UI, APIs, Web Services, Mobile Apps, and Salesforce applications.

Troubleshooting automation issues and mentoring junior team members are essential. Proficiency in Playwright UI and API automation is expected, along with experience in programming languages like Java or JavaScript and database skills in Postgres or Snowflake with strong SQL. Familiarity with AWS services for test automation is also required. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are vital for this role.
