This role is for a Functional Consultant within the APS (Advanced Planning Systems) team, focusing on Supply Chain & Network Operations in Bengaluru. The position requires a strong aptitude for analytical, technical, and complex problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of optimization methods, financial computations, statistical analysis, and advanced mathematical modeling. Experience with data science, associated software, and programming technologies is also essential.

Key responsibilities include delivering solutions, analyzing and interpreting data to support management decision-making, and optimizing supply chains for enhanced customer service and shareholder value. The solution delivery encompasses process design, data analytics, configuration and deployment of solutions, establishing performance metrics and policies, rigorous testing, and comprehensive knowledge management.

This position will involve active participation in client requirement and design sessions, identifying areas for improvement, collecting and analyzing data for decision support, preparing business impact case studies, and collaborating with onshore and offshore teams for solution configuration and testing to ensure alignment with design specifications.

Engage in end-to-end solution design, configuration, implementation, data analytics, and testing of APS solutions, while effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Participate in process and business requirements sessions with clients, documenting future state business processes based on industry best practices. Gather diverse operational and supply chain data, including historical sales, shipment, and inventory information from various sources like databases, spreadsheets, and emails.

Translate business logic into technical platform designs, leveraging knowledge of platform infrastructure. Collaborate with architects and directors to create clear functional and technical designs, define data requirements, and build intricate datasets. Configure the o9 platform according to design specifications to address complex operational and supply chain challenges, and implement robust performance monitoring systems.

Utilize mathematical models, predictive methods, statistical techniques, optimization algorithms, and simulations to analyze, manipulate, and interpret large enterprise datasets, providing actionable business insights and data visualizations to client management. Conduct data integration through ETL processes and develop models for time series forecasting and operational planning using statistical and optimization tools and programming languages.

Collaborate with internal Research and Development teams to resolve solution gaps and deploy fixes within the customer environment. Create and execute workflow and data analytics test cases, document identified issues, and monitor their resolution progress, with the goal of automating testing protocols with junior analyst support.

Work with clients, cross-functional teams, and IT and business stakeholders to ensure successful project planning and execution. Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for Super Users and End Users globally. Mentor junior analysts, familiarizing them with the technical and business aspects of projects.

A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields with a focus on operations or analytics is required.

Possess at least 3 years of experience in APS Functional roles, demonstrating expertise in end-to-end solution design, configuration, implementation, data analytics, testing, and stakeholder communication. Experience presenting complex topics clearly and concisely is essential.

Prior experience with planning systems and exposure to ERP tools are highly preferred. Firsthand experience leading a supply chain planning solution implementation through its entire lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, UAT/SIT, go-live, and value realization, is also advantageous. Experience using agile methodology for large-scale enterprise implementations is a plus.

Proficiency in statistical, optimization, and simulation tools such as R, SAS, or CPLEX is required. Strong knowledge of spreadsheets and document processing software (Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Suite) and presentation software (Microsoft PowerPoint) is essential. Familiarity with databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and skills in SQL, MDX, or T-SQL are preferred.

Demonstrate strong analytical techniques, data mining knowledge, and the ability to handle and process large volumes of data effectively. Exhibit critical thinking skills to identify key insights and prioritize high-value opportunities or risks. A strong academic background in mathematics and statistics is crucial.

Excellent verbal, written, presentation, demonstration, and training skills are required, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Must be capable of working effectively in distributed teams across different locations and time zones, interacting with both executive and junior-level personnel. A business-level command of English is necessary.
