Join our team as an experienced SAP ABAP Workflow Developer in Bengaluru. This full-time role focuses on SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and application support projects. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust workflow solutions that enhance SAP business processes, ensuring optimal performance and timely issue resolution.

We are seeking a candidate with deep expertise in SAP Business Workflow and ABAP development, capable of seamless workflow integration. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of our SAP environment.

Design, develop, and support SAP Business Workflow solutions, converting functional specifications into technical designs. Develop and maintain workflow templates, tasks, business objects, and event linkages. Configure multi-level approval workflows and utilize the Business Object Repository and ABAP Classes for development.

Implement workflow triggers via business events, change documents, and custom programs. Configure dynamic agent determination using rules, function modules, and ABAP classes. Develop deadline monitoring, reminders, and escalation mechanisms. Support SAP Business Workplace and Fiori My Inbox, including the development of supporting ABAP objects like reports and interfaces. Monitor and troubleshoot workflow issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure compliance with SAP standards.

A minimum of 4–6 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development is essential, coupled with strong proficiency in SAP Business Workflow configuration and development. Solid knowledge of Workflow Builder, Business Object Builder, and related workflow components is required.

Proficiency in object-oriented ABAP, classes, methods, and exception handling is expected. Experience with ABAP Dictionary, reports, function modules, BAPIs, RFCs, and enhancements is necessary. A good understanding of SAP organizational management and approvals is beneficial. Experience in workflow performance analysis, error handling, and production support is crucial. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required.
