Join Microsoft Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD) as a Consultant, where you will collaborate with strategic customers globally to address complex challenges and deliver industry-specific solutions powered by Microsoft Cloud and AI. You'll be at the forefront of innovation, guiding customers through their digital and AI transformation journeys with cutting-edge, repeatable solutions.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a global team of experts and influence the future of technology adoption across diverse industries. You will be instrumental in driving significant value and enabling customers to achieve their business objectives through advanced AI and cloud technologies.
Engage with customer stakeholders to deeply understand business processes, constraints, and success metrics. Translate complex needs into clear requirements and actionable solution designs for Generative AI (GenAI) and agentic scenarios.
Design and implement robust GenAI and agentic solutions on Microsoft platforms like Dynamics 365, M365 Copilots, Power Platform, and Azure. This includes developing integrations, APIs, and automations to accelerate adoption and achieve measurable business outcomes.
Rapidly prototype and iterate on solutions, building Proofs of Concept (POCs) for agentic workflows. Validate solutions with users and evolve them into production-ready implementations with comprehensive testing, monitoring, and secure deployment patterns.
Own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, from architecture design through implementation. Define build and test specifications, establish evaluation and quality gates for GenAI outputs, and create detailed operational guides and runbooks for system reliability, safety, and maintainability.
Proactively identify and mitigate technical and business risks associated with AI systems, such as data access, prompt injection, hallucinations, privacy concerns, compliance, latency, and cost. Propose effective safeguards and fallback behaviors for agentic flows to ensure secure and reliable operation.
Provide support for deployment and live stabilization, troubleshooting integrations and model behaviors in real-world environments. Iterate quickly to ensure successful go-lives, with clear ownership, robust monitoring, and incident response playbooks.
Balance platform configuration with extensibility needs to maximize speed and maintainability. Co-engineer solutions with customer teams to ensure effective knowledge transfer, comprehensive documentation, and the development of reusable patterns for future projects.
Drive comprehensive delivery plans across the entire lifecycle—discovery, build, evaluation, deployment, and operations—while meticulously accounting for dependencies across data, security, and enterprise systems.
Develop agentic workflows capable of invoking tools and APIs securely, incorporating function calling patterns, guardrails, validation, and auditability. Implement sophisticated evaluation strategies (both offline and online) to accurately measure output quality, groundedness, safety, and overall business impact.
Contribute to the creation of repeatable assets, including templates, reference architectures, and accelerators. Foster feedback loops to share insights and learnings with internal Microsoft teams, driving continuous improvement across the organization.
Focus areas include Microsoft 365 Migration & Security (e.g., SharePoint Server to SharePoint Online, Google to Microsoft), Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (e.g., Salesforce takeouts, CCaaS, Sales, Customer Service, Field Service), Copilot Extensibility (M365 & D365, including multi-agent orchestration and Microsoft Agent Framework), and Azure Fabric & Azure AI Foundry (e.g., One Lake, Lakehouse architecture, model catalog usage, enterprise agent development, RAG using Azure AI Search).
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, complemented by demonstrated experience in delivering production software solutions or equivalent practical experience.
Bring at least 4 years of experience in delivering enterprise-scale solutions on Microsoft platforms, including Dynamics 365, M365 Copilot, Power Platform, or Azure. This experience should encompass integration, security, and deployment within customer environments.
Demonstrate proven experience in delivering hands-on, production-grade solutions across the entire delivery lifecycle, from requirement ambiguity and development through deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
Showcase proven delivery of Dynamics 365 CE/Power Platform solutions, M365 Copilot Solutions, and experience building AI-infused workflows (such as recommendations, summarization, case routing, contact center assistance, or sales/service copilots) using production-grade engineering practices.
Prior experience building or extending solutions involving Copilots, AI-assisted workflows, or intelligent automation is highly desirable.
Experience with Azure Solutions, Dynamics 365, M365 Copilot, and Power Platform, along with exposure to Azure AI services and GenAI solution patterns, is a significant advantage.
Familiarity with Agile delivery, DevOps, CI/CD, and operational readiness (observability, incident response) is strongly preferred, particularly for AI systems.
Desirable experience includes Azure solution development, Contact Center solutions, Copilot Studio, and building GenAI/agentic experiences, including tool-use orchestration, retrieval grounding, evaluation/quality loops, and safety/guardrails.
Exhibit excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain AI behaviors, risks, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Drive alignment from ambiguity to execution effectively.
Cultivate a trusted customer-facing engineering presence, collaborating deeply, pairing with customer teams, and transferring knowledge to ensure long-term maintainability and empower client teams.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks, including AI-specific failure modes (e.g., grounding gaps, unsafe outputs, data leakage) and enterprise constraints (e.g., security, privacy, compliance).
Function as an Individual Contributor (IC role), influencing without authority through strong engineering judgment, structured problem-solving, and crisp stakeholder communication.
Be comfortable working across different time zones and in blended onsite/offshore models, thriving in fast-moving, customer-embedded delivery environments.
Success in this role involves delivering working GenAI/agentic solutions from prototype to production with measurable customer impact, implementing guardrails and evaluation for reliability and safety, and leaving behind reusable assets, documentation, and enabled customer teams.
