As a Senior Application Packaging Engineer within NTT DATA's India EPM practice, you will combine extensive technical expertise with leadership skills. You'll guide complex packaging initiatives, establish tooling and automation standards, mentor junior team members, and act as the Subject Matter Expert for enterprise application packaging across our worldwide client base. This position serves as a core technical contributor for the India packaging team, supporting SCCM/Intune operations for clients in the US, EMEA, and APAC regions.

This role involves leading enterprise application packaging programs, architecting robust packaging platforms, and defining efficient packaging factory models. You will evaluate and recommend optimal packaging tools such as AdminStudio, Advanced Installer, MSIX Packaging Tool, App-V, and PSF.

Your responsibilities will extend to handling complex packaging scenarios, developing custom MSI packages using WiX Toolset, and designing MSIX fixup frameworks for large-scale compatibility remediation. You'll also build App-V connection group strategies and develop automation frameworks for packaging, assessment, and quality validation.

Furthermore, you will integrate packaging workflows with DevOps tools like Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and leverage PowerShell for SCCM and Intune automation. Collaboration with ITSM platforms like ServiceNow for automated request intake and status updates is also key. You'll serve as a technical lead, mentor packaging engineers, define quality standards, and participate in client governance and SOW development.

To excel in this role, you need expert-level proficiency in enterprise application packaging formats including MSI, MSIX, App-V, and .intunewin. Advanced skills in WiX Toolset for custom MSI authoring, UI customization, and merge modules are essential.

Experience with MSIX and PSF for large-scale portfolio migration and compatibility analysis, along with advanced usage of AdminStudio/Flexera, is required. You must also possess strong experience with Intune and SCCM deployment engineering, including Graph API automation and CI/CD integration.

Advanced PowerShell skills for automation, packaging factory pipelines, and Graph API are critical. Proficiency in Azure DevOps for designing CI/CD pipelines and deep expertise in application compatibility analysis using ACT, PSF, and shims are necessary. A Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator (MD-102) or equivalent certification is preferred, along with Flexera AdminStudio certification.
