Join our team as a Configuration Analysis Specialist and play a crucial role in optimizing our claims processing platform. You will be instrumental in tailoring client systems for pricing and provider contracts, ensuring adherence to defined business rules and best practices. This position involves evaluating configuration requirements, developing innovative approaches, and implementing advanced functionalities.

Your expertise will be vital in problem-solving complex health plan benefit, provider, pricing, and operational issues. You will also contribute to the resolution of production support challenges by leveraging your understanding of core administrative system configurations. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the US healthcare claims payer sector.

Configure client systems for pricing, specifically focusing on provider contracts, to align with new claims processing platform requirements and business rules.

Evaluate configuration needs, devise strategic approaches, and integrate advanced functionalities and best practices.

Develop and implement rules based on gathered business requirements and rules, performing comprehensive configuration activities.

Address and resolve issues related to health plan benefits, providers, pricing, reporting, operations, and the system itself.

Undertake various tasks for resolving production support issues, directly linked to client configurations within the core administrative system.

Support updates to configuration within the claims processing system, particularly in Provider Pricing, and manage fee schedule changes including terms, affiliations, and contract maintenance.

Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementing modifications as advised by business owners and analysts.

Create manual test cases derived from use cases, functional specifications, and other requirement documents.

Resolve coding and QA issues by managing Master Issue Logs and prioritizing high-impact change requests for immediate attention.

A strong foundation of over 5 years of experience in the US healthcare claims payer industry is essential.

We require 6+ years of experience in configuring client systems for pricing (provider contracts) and 2+ years in UAT testing.

High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory. An Associate's degree, technical college education, or some college coursework is preferred.

Demonstrated ability to thrive in a project-oriented work environment is key.

Preference will be given to candidates with 2+ years of experience in SQL, including query writing, and exposure to VB/VB.NET.
