As a key member of our team, you will collaborate globally with stakeholders, users, and engineering peers to define and execute project plans and shape product roadmaps. You'll manage and lead a diverse team of 8+ junior and senior software developers across multiple locations, implementing processes to enhance team quality and efficiency. This role involves managing significant projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from scoping and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software systems. You will work closely with engineers on database design, query optimization, and ETL processes, utilizing technologies like Java, Flink, JSON, Protobuf, Presto, Elastic Search, Kafka, and Kubernetes, with exposure to various SQL and NoSQL databases. Innovation and the incubation of new ideas are highly encouraged.

We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, coupled with 9+ years of software development experience, including management expertise. A strong understanding of DBMS concepts, database architecture, and extensive experience in ETL/data pipeline development and query tuning are essential. The ability to articulate ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing, is crucial. While knowledge of the financial industry is beneficial, it's not a prerequisite. Experience in UI/UX development, API design for interconnected services, relational databases, and an understanding of financial industry compliance or risk functions are advantageous and can differentiate candidates.
