Join a dynamic team within the Office of the CFO and Controllership organization, serving as an organizational center of excellence for compensation, benefits, and equity plan accounting.

This role is instrumental in delivering best-in-class accounting services and providing essential reporting and analysis to business partners. The Associate will be responsible for comprehensive accounting and reporting for all compensation, benefits, and equity plans.

Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for various compensation, benefits, and equity plans.

Prepare and record essential monthly journal entries and adjusting entries. Conduct pre-close month-over-month variance analysis and provide clear explanations.

Independently monitor, maintain, and reconcile complex general ledger accounts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve any discrepancies. Participate in special projects, ad hoc reporting, and cross-training initiatives within the team.

Assist in fulfilling internal and external audit requirements. Integrate new unit/award issuances, forfeitures, and terminations into accounting processes and workpapers. Provide timely, accurate, and well-documented guidance on technical accounting or reporting issues to ensure proper accounting treatment and maintain compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.

Monitor and maintain documented policies, procedures, processes, and controls within compensation and benefit areas. Develop a thorough understanding of assigned general ledger accounts, compensation and benefit programs, business segments, and applicable technical accounting areas.

Candidates should possess a B.Com/M.Com and MBA Finance degree. A CA/CPA qualification is preferred.

A minimum of 7 years of experience in an accounting or finance role is required, with a strong background in accounting and/or audit procedures and experience with financial accounting systems.

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is essential, alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to function effectively as a team player and collaborate with others is crucial.

Demonstrated strengths in analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary. The ability to manage multiple competing priorities and achieve targeted outcomes is expected.
