Join Emergent, a leader in autonomous coding agents, as a Community Intern in San Francisco. You'll work closely with our Community Lead and Head of Marketing, driving our events and online community initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in scaling a global ambassador program and witnessing the growth of a community-led AI company. This internship provides a unique chance to be involved in the day-to-day operations of community growth, from managing event logistics to fostering vibrant online discussions. You'll gain practical skills in community management, content creation, and program scaling within a fast-paced tech environment.

Manage and execute event operations, including creating Luma event pages, tracking RSVPs, and overseeing on-site logistics for SF events. Support the day-to-day functioning of Discord and Facebook groups, welcoming new members and ensuring a positive community environment. Provide prompt and friendly member support, flagging noteworthy builders and stories for content and social media teams.

Contribute to content creation by recording product walkthroughs and participating in livestreams or builder interviews. Maintain community trackers and dashboards to report on event attendance, Discord growth, and user-generated content. Assist in scaling the ambassador program by sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, and onboarding new city leads with comprehensive support and resources. Curate and maintain a global events playbook, documenting best practices for various event types.

We're seeking individuals genuinely enthusiastic about AI, startups, and small businesses, with a curiosity for how non-technical individuals can leverage AI. You should be a proactive builder who enjoys showcasing possibilities and is comfortable on camera for recordings or livestreams. Strong, friendly writing skills are essential for engaging with the community across various platforms.

Excellent communication skills are vital for interacting with ambassador candidates and city leads globally. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and possesses a process-oriented mindset, able to identify and formalize effective event strategies. A people-oriented approach and comfort working at events are key. This role requires you to be based in the SF Bay Area and able to work in person at our HQ.
