You will collaborate across teams to engage with media and thought leaders, developing compelling communications materials and campaigns that solidify Google's leadership in AI and our product portfolio. Your role will also involve countering misinformation to safeguard our business and user experience.

This position requires translating complex issues into clear, accessible explanations across various formats. You'll provide direct communications support for executives in India, acting as a strategic storyteller and trusted advisor. Your focus will be on championing Google's AI leadership, including AI for Science and Society, throughout India. You will craft high-impact narrative strategies, manage significant reputation challenges, and partner with executives, media, and digital creators to highlight practical AI applications and reinforce our commitment to responsible AI.

Lead the creation of integrated AI storytelling campaigns and narrative strategies that effectively showcase Google's AI leadership and its positive impact on science and society across India.

Direct comprehensive issues management and crisis communications programs designed to safeguard Google's AI reputation and proactively address external concerns regarding safety, ethics, and misinformation.

Engage with influential opinion leaders, public interest groups, media representatives, and digital creators to demonstrate real-world AI applications and bring valuable external perspectives back into Google.

Offer strategic communications counsel and executive positioning guidance to senior leadership for their AI thought leadership initiatives, industry forums, and public engagements.

Manage contemporary multi-channel social media strategies, oversee agency partners, and foster creative collaborations for key AI summits and local ecosystem announcements.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 7 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or internal and executive communications, preferably with technology products or services.

Preferred qualifications include experience with communications principles, crisis management, navigating traditional and emerging channels, and understanding broader communications trends. The ability to advise executives and manage both internal and external stakeholder relationships is highly valued. Candidates should possess the capacity to work calmly and effectively in fast-moving environments, adapting quickly and escalating issues as needed.
