Your primary duties will involve meticulously reviewing outstanding insurance balances to identify and resolve claim payment obstacles, collaborating with payers, patients, and clients as needed. You will analyze and trend data, proposing effective solutions to enhance first-pass denial rates and reduce overall AR aging.
Key responsibilities include understanding the complete accounting and claim life cycle, ensuring all workflow items are completed within established turn-around times and quality standards. Analyzing Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and denials at a claim level to identify trends and drive process improvements is also essential. You will perform other assigned duties and adhere strictly to company policies, employment contracts, and directives, maintaining flexibility in response to evolving business needs.
We are seeking candidates with functional knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations, along with experience in privacy laws and information access. A strong command of American English, including a neutral accent, is essential. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook, is required.
Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse internal and external clients is a must. You should possess excellent judgment and critical thinking skills, with a demonstrated capacity to identify and resolve problems efficiently. Accurate and proficient typing skills, coupled with a solid work ethic and professionalism, are vital for success in this role, ensuring a strong commitment to client and patient satisfaction.
