Responsibilities

As an AR Associate, you will be instrumental in managing accounts receivable, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures, and communicating key trends and suggestions to leadership. You will review outstanding insurance balances, identify and resolve claim payment issues, and collaborate with payers, patients, and clients.

Your role will involve analyzing AR data to recommend solutions for improving first-pass denial rates and reducing overall AR aging. You will also ensure all workflow items are completed within turnaround times and quality expectations, analyze EOBs and denials for trend identification and process improvements, and perform other assigned duties. Compliance with employment contracts, company policies, and directives is essential.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a Graduate degree (10+2+3), B.Tech, or MBA, possessing at least 18 months of experience in AR Calling. Essential domain expertise includes hands-on experience in both Physician and Hospital Billing, with mandatory experience in Hospital Billing (UB04) and Denial Management within the RCM/AR domain.

Candidates must demonstrate a solid understanding of medical insurance (HMO, PPO, Medicare, Medicaid, Private Payers) and extensive working knowledge of relevant workflow applications. Excellent American English communication skills with a neutral accent, strong judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities are required. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and efficient typing skills are necessary. A strong work ethic, professionalism, and a commitment to client satisfaction, along with functional knowledge of HIPAA rules and privacy laws, are expected.
