This role is pivotal for maintaining and supporting critical business applications built on Adobe ColdFusion. You will be instrumental in ensuring application stability and availability through expert troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

Provide essential L2/L3 production support for Adobe ColdFusion applications, guaranteeing high availability and performance.

Take ownership of P1/P2/P3 incidents, resolving them within defined service level agreements and participating in major incident management.

Troubleshoot a wide range of issues including application failures, performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and data-related incidents.

Analyze application, web server, and database logs to pinpoint root causes and perform thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database connections, while also performing minor CFML/ColdFusion code fixes and managing configurations and patches.

Actively monitor application health, batch processes, scheduled jobs, and server resources, responding to production alerts promptly.

Support deployment and release cycles, including pre-deployment checks, implementation, smoke testing, and validation.

Collaborate effectively with development, infrastructure, DBA, network, security, and third-party teams for complex issue resolution.

Manage incidents, problems, service requests, and changes in alignment with ITIL best practices.

Maintain comprehensive support documentation, including SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge-base articles.

Drive improvements through automation, enhanced monitoring, and initiatives to reduce recurring incidents.

Participate in on-call rotations or shift-based support as necessitated by business requirements.

Qualifications

A strong foundation in Adobe ColdFusion / CFML is essential, with proven experience in troubleshooting ColdFusion applications.

Possess a solid understanding of ColdFusion components like CFCs, templates, session management, scheduled tasks, and data sources.

Demonstrate robust SQL and database troubleshooting skills, working with platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.

Familiarity with IIS/Apache, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, web application architecture, and analyzing application/server logs is required.

Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and application integrations is necessary.

Experience with production monitoring, alerting, debugging, and performance troubleshooting is crucial.

Knowledge of ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Major Incident Management is vital.

Previous experience with ServiceNow, source-control systems, and CI/CD tools is beneficial.
