As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in understanding customer needs and shaping the future of cloud technology.

This role involves providing critical Level 2 support and managing complex customer issues. You will be part of a global, 24x7 support network dedicated to facilitating seamless transitions to Google Cloud. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring customer success and driving the adoption of our cutting-edge cloud services.

Resolve complex customer technical challenges through expert diagnosis and effective problem-solving. Develop deep technical expertise in Google Cloud products and architectures by troubleshooting, replicating issues, and creating tools for faster resolution.

Serve as a trusted consultant and subject matter expert for internal teams, including engineering and sales, to overcome deployment hurdles and enhance Google Cloud offerings. Champion customer needs by collaborating with product and engineering teams to drive product improvements and ensure high-quality output.

Contribute to a global team providing round-the-clock customer support, which may occasionally require flexible work hours or shifts. Your efforts will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall success of Google Cloud.

A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience, is required. We seek candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in troubleshooting, advocating for customer needs, and triaging technical issues across hardware, software, applications, and operations.

Proficiency in reading or debugging code with languages such as Java, C, C++, .NET, Python, Shell, Perl, or JavaScript is essential. Fluency in English is necessary for effective client relationship management.

Preferred qualifications include experience with network infrastructure device implementation and troubleshooting, advanced network analysis techniques, and familiarity with cloud solutions like Google App Engine or various cloud networking services. Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Routing, VPNs, etc.) is highly beneficial.
