This Technical Solutions Engineer position offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to a global 24x7 support team dedicated to helping customers transition to Google Cloud. You will be instrumental in ensuring customer success by addressing complex technical challenges.

Manage and resolve customer issues on Google Cloud Platform products through effective diagnosis and the development of new investigation tools. Deepen your expertise in Google's product technology and architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, and identifying root causes for reported issues, while also creating tools to streamline diagnosis.

Serve as a subject matter expert and consultant for internal teams in engineering, sales, and customer organizations, working to overcome technical deployment obstacles and enhance Google Cloud. Champion customer needs by collaborating with cross-functional product and engineering teams to drive product improvements and ensure high-quality production.

Contribute to a global team providing round-the-clock customer support, which may involve working non-standard hours or shifts to ensure continuous service.

A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience is required. You should have at least 2 years of experience in troubleshooting and advocating for customer needs, along with triaging technical issues across hardware, software, applications, or operations.

Proficiency in reading or debugging code using languages such as Java, C, C++, .NET, Python, Shell, Perl, or JavaScript is essential. The ability to communicate fluently in English is necessary for managing client relationships in this region.

Preferred qualifications include experience with network infrastructure devices, advanced network troubleshooting techniques like packet analysis and load testing, and familiarity with cloud solutions such as SQL database administration, Google App Engine, or distributed computing. Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, Routing, VPNs, VLANs, etc.) is also highly beneficial.
