This role focuses on aligning business needs with SAP BRIM Subscription Order Management (SOM) and HANA-based technical solutions. It involves analyzing organizational processes, understanding subscription-based business models, and envisioning future-state improvements across the subscription lifecycle. Effective requirement analysis and collaboration with technical teams are key to enhancing business performance.

Independently drive projects and grow into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP ABAP on HANA and BRIM SOM. Actively contribute to team discussions, solution design, and problem-solving. Deliver effective solutions for challenges within the subscription order lifecycle, order changes, and integrations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including functional, technical, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment between BRIM SOM processes and technology. Document and clearly communicate business and functional requirements to technical teams, ensuring accurate ABAP on HANA implementation. Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.

Continuously monitor and evaluate business and subscription processes to identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and innovation.

Demonstrate proficiency in SAP ABAP Development on HANA and hands-on experience with SAP BRIM – Subscription Order Management (SOM) ABAP developments and enhancements. Experience developing and customizing SAP applications for HANA environments, including performance-optimized coding, is essential.

Possess a strong understanding of SAP HANA database concepts, CDS views, Open SQL, and performance tuning techniques. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical and functional issues within SAP BRIM and core SAP systems is required. Familiarity with the integration of BRIM SOM with CI, FI-CA, Convergent Invoicing, and downstream systems is important.

Requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in SAP ABAP Development on HANA, with exposure to SAP BRIM SOM. A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is mandatory.
