Serve as a key technical advisor, guiding customers and partners through architecture reviews, technical strategy, and proof-of-concepts to accelerate the adoption of data, analytics, and AI solutions. You will be responsible for designing, validating, and optimizing enterprise-scale architectures using Databricks and Azure services, while also identifying and resolving technical blockers that impact customer success. Influence technology roadmaps and contribute to the development of reusable intellectual property, reference architectures, and deployment accelerators.

Collaborate closely with Databricks, Microsoft Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, and Partner teams to drive successful customer outcomes and consumption of Azure services. You will lead virtual teams to tackle complex technical challenges and represent Microsoft in customer engagements and industry events. Your insights will help shape product strategy and drive continuous improvement in our offerings. This role also involves driving Azure consumption and Databricks adoption, helping partners scale differentiated solutions, and identifying growth opportunities.

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or IT is required, along with at least 7 years of experience in cloud technologies, IT consulting, or software development. Candidates should possess 6+ years of customer-facing technical sales experience and a proven track record in leading technical projects. Deep expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and modern Data & AI platforms is essential, including experience with generative AI workloads.

Demonstrated success in architecting and deploying enterprise-scale cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, including Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure AI Services, is crucial. A strong background in building and modernizing data platforms, combined with experience in customer-facing architecture, consulting, or solution delivery roles, is expected. Solid understanding of cloud architecture best practices, including security, governance, and performance optimization, is also necessary. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills are vital for this role. Relevant certifications in Databricks or Azure are highly preferred.
