Join Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions-Core (MCAPS) as a Cloud Solution Architect, a pivotal role in driving customer success and business growth through innovative cloud solutions. This position focuses on leveraging Azure PaaS and AI services to architect, design, and deliver scalable, cloud-native applications. You will be instrumental in helping customers realize value faster and achieve measurable business impact by transforming innovation into tangible results.

As part of the Customer & Commercial Success (CCS) organization, you'll contribute to executing Microsoft's commercial strategy at scale. This involves close collaboration with product, engineering, marketing, sales, and partner teams to ensure customers benefit from deep technical expertise and differentiated go-to-market execution. Architect and provide expert technical guidance to "Support for Mission Critical" (SfMC) customers, ensuring optimal reliability, security, and performance of their solutions.

Take full ownership of technical deliverables, ensuring they align with customer business objectives and Microsoft's best practices. Proactively identify and address architectural risks, design gaps, and operational inefficiencies across various services.

Engage proactively with SfMC stakeholders through detailed assessments and tailored guidance to prevent incidents and enhance workload health. Collaborate with Microsoft engineering and support teams to resolve escalations and influence platform evolution. Drive the creation and reuse of technical assets like scripts, tools, and documentation to enable scalable customer engagements.

Serve as a trusted advisor to customer architects and engineers, guiding their long-term technical strategy for enhanced stability, resilience, and innovation. Mentor and upskill team members, contribute to frameworks, and lead cross-functional collaborations to drive scalable success.

A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or Liberal Arts is required, complemented by at least 4 years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, or consulting. Alternatively, equivalent experience will be considered.

Demonstrated hands-on experience with Azure PaaS and Azure AI services is essential for architecting and delivering scalable cloud-native solutions. This role requires a strong focus on customer engagement and driving AI adoption across enterprise applications.

Preferred qualifications include over 10 years of experience in cloud data platforms, with a specialization in Azure, and hands-on expertise with Azure Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Factory, and Azure AI services in secure environments. Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL pipelines, real-time data processing, data engineering, and ML model deployment using Azure tools is highly advantageous. A solid understanding of distributed computing, big data processing, data lake architectures, Cosmos DB, SQL Server, Azure architecture (IaaS, PaaS, serverless), networking, security, and resilience in cloud-native applications is also beneficial.
