Spearhead the formulation and execution of the long-term growth and site-development strategy for silicon initiatives. Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing organization comprising managers and engineers, cultivating an innovative culture. You will oversee site-level silicon development from initial concept through tape-out and production, collaborating with global stakeholders to ensure industry-leading targets for Quality, Schedule, and Power, Performance, Area (PPA) are met. Actively participate in and lead critical design, verification, testability, and physical sign-off reviews to maintain Google's stringent quality standards, serving as the primary site point of contact.
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required. A minimum of 15 years of technical experience leading silicon teams in Design, Design Verification, or Physical Design is essential. Additionally, 6 years of experience in building, mentoring, and leading multi-functional engineering organizations is necessary. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, with a focus on computer architecture, alongside a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end ASIC/SoC design flows.
