As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert, fostering collaboration and managing team performance. You will be responsible for crucial team decisions and engage with multiple departments to contribute to key strategic choices. A significant part of your role will involve providing comprehensive solutions to cross-team challenges, leading the evaluation and implementation of cutting-edge cloud technologies to elevate our platform's capabilities, and ensuring strict adherence to cloud architecture, security, and compliance best practices. Additionally, you'll mentor junior engineers, supporting their professional development.

We are seeking skilled individuals with a strong command of the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform, along with hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure deployment and management. Candidates should possess deep knowledge of cloud security principles and performance optimization techniques. The ability to design and validate architectural concepts through proof-of-concept implementations is essential, as is familiarity with integrating cloud and on-premises systems. A minimum of 12 years of dedicated experience with the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform is required, alongside a comprehensive 15 years of full-time education. This role demands a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years of professional experience.
