As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, building, testing, and deploying cloud-native application solutions that seamlessly integrate diverse infrastructures. You will deploy robust infrastructure and platform environments, and conduct proof-of-architecture assessments to validate viability, security, and performance.

Key duties include architecting and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure using AWS services. You will also provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting best practices in software development and cloud architecture. Collaboration with product management, QA, and DevOps teams is essential for delivering high-quality software solutions. Furthermore, you will perform thorough code reviews, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in software development and testing, with a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years focused on SaaS applications. Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) is a must, complemented by substantial experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation, or equivalent Azure/GCP expertise.

A solid understanding of RESTful APIs, OpenAPI design, and development, along with SQL and NoSQL databases, is required. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for automated delivery, is expected. Experience in developing and maintaining test automation suites, defining test strategies, and leveraging API and UI test automation tools is highly valued.
